Strobe Crosstalk Test / Display Blur Reduction

This test is for Motion Blur Reduction modes in displays and gaming monitors including ULMB / LightBoost / ELMB / DyAc / etc.

This test will reveal double-image effects caused by strobe crosstalk. Blur Reduction modes use a strobe backlight or scanning backlight to reduce motion blur. Some brands have utilities to allow calibration of Blur Reduction, such as Strobe Utility for BenQ/Zowie monitors.

Run this test in full screen mode. Adjusting Strobe Phase (Area) will shift the location of double-image effects. Adjust for clearest image (least double-image effect). For an advanced technical explanation of strobe crosstalk, see Strobe Crosstalk FAQ.

For best results, use the fastest UFO Speed setting you can easily track with your eyes. Adjust your viewing distance & Pixel Scale if necessary to eye-track faster UFOs.
