Demo of Stutters and Tearing
Demo of Stutters, Tearing, and Framerate Fluctuations

Smooth - Perfect, full frame rate motion.
Microstuttering - Simulation of minor stutters.
Stuttering - Simulation of very unsmooth motion.
Frame Rate Slow Downs - Simulation of sudden frame rate halvings, common with VSYNC ON.
Tearing - Simulation of tearing artifacts, common with VSYNC OFF.
Tearing & Bad Stuttering - Simulation of worst-case scenario.
G-SYNC - Simulation of NVIDIA G-SYNC which allows stutter-free transitions between frame rates. G-SYNC also simultaneously (1) reduce input lag, (2) eliminate tearing, and (3) eliminate stutters from framerate fluctuations. This demo emulates G-SYNC via software interpolation to approximate a hardware variable refresh rate display.
These animations are accurate only in a stutter-free web browser. Check your Web Browser to verify (Windows Aero, Primary Monitor, etc).
